Community Dance Class and Food Drive

The USF Dance Alumni Society is partnering with Feeding Tampa Bay and Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy to both give back to the community and dance as one! USF Dance alumna, Amanda Garland, will lead a fun jazz-inspired class for dancers and dance enthusiasts of all levels and backgrounds ages 10 through adult. In lieu of payment, class participants are asked to bring non-perishable food items or make a monetary donation to Feeding Tampa Bay through our Virtual Food Drive during the month of January. Help us restock the food pantries after the busy holiday season and have a blast grooving as a group!
- Class participants must be 10 years or older and will sign a liability waiver onsite.
- Class participants should wear clothes they can easily move in.
- Jazz shoes, socks, or bare feet are all fine!

USF Dance Alumni Society leaders will be onsite to collect food donations and assist with online donations to the virtual food drive.
Feeding Tampa Bay, part of the national Feeding America network focuses on providing food to about 1 million food-insecure families in the 10-county area of West Central Florida. Their mission is to change lives one meal at a time by leading our community in the fight against hunger.
