The Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) 2025 Transportation Achievement Awards event will recognize Husein Cumber, Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for Florida East Cost Industries (FECI), as the 2025 inductee into Florida’s Transportation Hall of Fame. Established in 2003, the Florida Transportation Hall of Fame is an annual award to recognize highly esteemed individuals who have made significant contributions to Florida’s transportation industry. Each year, the CUTR Advisory Board selects inductees who have displayed significant transportation leadership, character, insight, and innovation throughout their distinguished careers.
During the event, CUTR will also present the 2025 Georgia Brosch Transportation Scholarships, New Voice Award, CUTR Transportation Scholarships, and Student Research Poster Awards.
Funds raised at this event will support student scholarships and awards.
