Session Two: Taking Control: Understanding Debt, Savings and Credit

Feeling overwhelmed by debt? Want to save more but aren't sure where to start? In this interactive workshop, you will learn how to master the key pillars of personal finance: debt management, savings and credit. You will be provided with the tools and knowledge to take charge of your finances and build a more secure financial future.

You will:

  • Develop and implement a personalized debt reduction or elimination plan using proven budgeting and repayment strategies.
  • Establish and follow a personal savings plan for both your short-term needs and long-term goals, whether it's for a down payment, a vacation or an emergency fund.
  • Locate and interpret your credit score and report, identifying the key factors that impact your creditworthiness and learning how to build and maintain a healthy credit history.

Sabrina Protic is a dynamic businesswoman, community leader, financial coach, author, speaker, wife and proud grandmother.
